Miniball is a fun, introductory basketball program designed for boys and girls in Prep to Grade 4. It’s player-centred, affordable, and focused on helping kids learn, play, and grow—all in a safe, welcoming environment.

For over 35 years, IBA has delivered this trusted program, with each season adding to the experience and expertise of our dedicated volunteers and organisers.

Why Miniball?

Our goal is always to create an enjoyable and safe environment where children build skills and confidence while having fun.

Season Structure

• Team Formation: Players are placed into teams on Registration Day based on age.
  
  

• Weekly Sessions: Each Saturday between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM at the Mildura Hot House (8th Street).
  
  

  • Each session includes:
    
    

    • 🏀 20-minute training
      
      

    • 🏀 20-minute game
      
      

• Coaches on Court: Coaches remain on the floor during games to guide and encourage players.
  
  

• Season Finale: A fun Round Robin Day wraps up the season, where all teams play short games. Every player receives a participation medallion.
  
  

📅 The season runs during Terms 2 & 3.
🗓️ Game Start Date: Saturday, 26th April 2025 (after school holidays and Easter).

Uniforms & Equipment

To keep things simple and affordable:

• IBA provides team singlets.

  • A basketball (if you have one — we’ll supply them if needed)
